2. Services Provided

Lasting Independence provides senior technology consulting services, including home safety assessments, smart device installation, training, and ongoing maintenance. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of our services at any time without prior notice.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to contract for our services. By using Lasting Independence, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have authority to make decisions regarding the home where services will be provided.

4. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and complete information about your home and needs.
• Ensure we have appropriate access to the home for installations.
• Use our services and installed equipment only for lawful purposes.
• Maintain a safe environment for our technicians during service visits.

5. Fees and Payment

Fees for home audits, installation packages, and memberships are listed on our website. The $99 Home Audit fee is credited toward any package purchase. Package payments are due upon completion of installation. Membership fees are billed monthly. Refunds are available within 30 days of installation if you are not satisfied.

6. Service Limitations

Lasting Independence provides technology installation and consulting services. We are not a medical alert service, home security monitoring company, or emergency response provider. Our devices provide notifications and convenience features but should not replace professional medical monitoring if needed.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, and trademarks on the Lasting Independence website are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lasting Independence is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or installed devices. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service in question.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our services if you violate these Terms. Membership subscriptions may be cancelled at any time with no long-term commitment required.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
